The East Boston Latin Music Festival: ‘Sonidos de la Gente’ (Sounds of the People) will be coming to Bremen Street Park. This free music festival is presented by ZUMIX, a nonprofit that empowers young people through music, technology, and creative employment, in collaboration with state Sen. Lydia Edwards.

The festival will feature both local live music acts as well as local dance ensembles.

“This event is meant to be a joyous coming together of community after a challenging and isolating few years,” organizers said in a press release.

Performing bands include Zayra Pola, Sonn de mi Tierra, Veronica Robles’ Mariachi Band, and Marcus Santos’ Grooversity. The dancers will include Salsa y Control, Samba Viva, and more.
