While one marathon is taking center stage on April 15, there’s another one waiting in the wings. And this one has lightsabers.

Showcase Cinema de Lux at Legacy Place has just announced a second auditorium has been added with plenty of seats for its upcoming otherwise sold out “Skywalker Saga May the 4th Marathon.”

As one of only 13 theaters nationwide, and New England’s only location, to host this exclusive 23-hour cinematic event, the theater will begin by showing “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” at 8 p.m. on May 3 and end with “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker,” with final credits rolling at 6:45 p.m. aptly on “Star Wars Day” (for those not in the know, May the 4th be with you). Playing between those two iconic films are “Attack of the Clones,” “Revenge of the Sith,” “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back,” “Return of the Jedi,” “The Force Awakens,” and “The Last Jedi.” Throughout the marathon, you’ll also get a special look at the upcoming Disney+ series “The Acolyte.”

While the first round of tickets sold out almost immediately, tickets are now on sale for the newly added second auditorium and are priced at $40 ($35 for Starpass Loyalty Members). In addition to all nine movies, you will also receive exclusive commemorative items including a limited-edition collectible print and a keepsake marathon badge. During the breaks between films, you can freshen up, purchase Star Wars-themed food and cocktails (there’s a 25% off food and beverage purchases throughout the marathon), grab a shot with a special stormtrooper during a lobby photo opp, and even do a little morning Yoda yoga.
