The best events in the city, delivered to your inbox
Consider this your invitation to get in the zone for spring — minus the booze. Zone 3, a vibrant locale of community engagement and creativity set within Allston’s under-utilized Western Ave. corridor, redefines nightlife norms with its early evening and alcohol-free event, Over the Influence. With the power of dancing as your only vice that evening, all are welcome to let loose at these mid-week free events. Each event will highlight rotating local DJs and varying eras of sound as you embrace the joy of movement on April 3 and 24 and May 15 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Hosted by SIDE and serving up themed mocktails by Dray Drinks, these events follow Zone 3’s agenda of “creating a space where people of all genders, races, and identities feel welcome, included, and safe.”
The Over the Influence spring schedule is as follows:
April 3: Queer Anthems
Boudoir DJs Adam Unknown and Mx. Blaire
April 24: ‘90’s Hip Hop
Featuring Brandi Chanel
May 15: Disco Dance
Featuring KB Sweets
Those interested can reserve a spot on the event website.
