Winter in New England can be wild (hello, nor’easters and whipping winds). Don the down and get into the seasonal spirit with a more welcomed type of wild at ZooLights at Stone Zoo in Stoneham. Beginning Nov. 19 and running through Jan. 9, 2022, you’ll have the chance to visit the Zoo for night-time winter wonderland walks on tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. Through the beautifully lit Yukon Creek, you’ll see black bears, a bald eagle, Canada lynx, arctic foxes and even reindeer, as well as several beautiful large-scale lantern displays. Hop on a moonlit carousel spin or a Jungle Fun ride. Reservations are required.
While Santa will be too busy at the North Pole to attend this year’s ZooLights, Stone Zoo will be offering Zooms with Santa for families to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes.
