Sunday brunch just got a little bigger and better. Kimpton Marlowe Hotel’s Bambara Kitchen & Bar — and a few gorgeous divas — take over the hotel’s magnificent ballroom for its final “Something a Bit More Drag” performance on Sept. 11. Stef Anya, Christina Faguilera, and Alana Thicc, a dynamic trio of illustrious Boston-based performers, kick up their heels on stage inside the grand venue, alongside special guest Gia D’witshes. DJ Frenchy cues up the dance music as you enjoy drag performances, a brunch buffet, signature cocktails (the ticket price includes the first, but more are available for purchase). All this glam is also for a good cause — a portion of the proceeds supports the Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth (BAGLY), a youth led, adult-supported social support organization committed to social justice and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community.
