When Burlington native Amy Poehler and her “Saturday Night Live” partner in crime Tina Fey went on tour together for the first time back in 2023, tickets to their Boston show sold out almost instantly.
Almost two years after that MGM Music Hall show, Fey and Poehler’s Restless Leg Tour is still going strong, and will be making a second stop in Boston on Saturday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at the Boch Center Wang Theatre.
“If this tour goes right, we can finally end this friendship!” Fey and Poehler said in a press release announcing the new dates.
Fans can buy tickets for Fey and Poehler’s Boston show starting this Wednesday, January 29 at 10 a.m. by using the pre-sale code RESTLESS. After that, GA tickets will be available starting Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at TinaAmyTour.com as well as via Ticketmaster.
It would be highly surprising if both Poehler and Fey weren’t involved in the three-hour “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special, which airs Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. Fey served as a cast member and writer from 1997 to 2006, while Poehler’s tenure on “SNL” ran from 2001 to 2008.
Along with their collaborations at Studio 8H, Poehler and Fey co-hosted the Golden Globes four times and starred in several movies together, including 2004’s “Mean Girls,” 2008’s “Baby Mama,” 2015’s “Sisters,” and 2019’s “Wine Country.”
