Raise money for Huntington’s disease at ‘Curling For A Cure’

Watch teams sweep a path toward curing Huntington's Disease.

Teams curl to help raise money for The Huntington's Disease Society of America.

Whether you’re dusting off your own broom and stone or you’re a fan from the stands, join other curling enthusiasts at The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s (HDSA) Massachusetts and Rhode Island Chapter’s “Curling For A Cure” on March 5 at Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland. The event will recognize those who have made an impact in their community while inspiring others to join the fight against Huntington’s disease — a fatal genetic disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain that is described as having ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s disease all at once. Today, there are approximately 41,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at risk of inheriting the disease.
