The Sorting Hat has chosen Cambridge to host a new exhibit celebrating the Harry Potter movies’ iconic moments and characters.
“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” opened at CambridgeSide on Sept. 13, showcasing authentic props and costumes as seen and used in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, and the Broadway production, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”
The exhibit also has interactive elements where guests can select their favorite Hogwarts house, practice their Quidditch skills, and learn about magical creatures.
The exhibition, created and developed by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment in partnership with Imagine Exhibitions and Eventim Live, has opened in several cities around the world following its debut in Philadelphia in 2022.
“Bring your loved ones or your fellow witch and wizard friends,” Tom Zaller, President and CEO of Imagine Exhibitions, said in a statement. “Whether you’re a new fan, or have been a fan for decades, you will not want to miss this truly remarkable experience.”
