Tickets on sale next week for ‘Hamilton’ in Boston

The musical will be performed at Citizens Opera House from Sept. 23 to Nov. 2.

Tickets for the upcoming Boston run of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway sensation “Hamilton” will be available starting on Monday, June 9, Broadway in Boston announced this week. The show will be part of the 25/26 Lexus Broadway in Boston Season.

The show will be performed at Citizens Opera House from Sept. 23 to Nov. 2.

Prices will start at $49. The purchase limit is nine tickets per account. For parties of 10 or more, contact Broadway in Boston Group Sales by emailing [email protected] or calling 617-482-8616.

There will also be a $10 seat lottery for 40 seats at all performances. The details will be announced closer to opening day.

“Hamilton” is a saga that follows the rise of Alexander Hamilton through the Revolutionary War and foundation of the country. Based on Ron Chernow’s biography, the show blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway.

“Hamilton” has accumulated 11 Tony Awards, five Grammys, seven Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and was recognized at the Kennedy Center Honors.
