Fans of arena-sized rock and epic love stories are in for a treat as “Bat Out of Hell – The Musical” makes a three-city stop in Massachusetts this April, with one-night performances in Lynn, Worcester, and Boston.

The explosive production, written by Jim Steinman and inspired by Meat Loaf’s landmark “Bat Out of Hell” album, reimagines a rebellious love story in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic Manhattan. Loosely based on “Peter Pan,” the musical follows Strat, the fearless leader of “The Lost,” as he falls for Raven, the sheltered daughter of the city’s tyrannical ruler.
