The 2022 Fenway Park concert series has added one of the world’s most popular musicians to its lineup: Bad Bunny.
The Puerto Rican singer/rapper, who was named the most listened-to artist worldwide on Spotify for two straight years, will perform at Fenway Park on Thursday, Aug. 18, as part of his “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour.”
The tour kicks off on August 5 in Orlando, and will visit 29 cities across the Americas before wrapping up on December 9 in Mexico City.
Much of Bad Bunny’s music incorporates elements of reggaeton and Latin trap, but he has proven versatile with his sound over the years. His best chart performance on the Billboard Hot 100 to date was “I Like It,” a collaboration with rapper Cardi B and fellow Latin American superstar J Balvin.
Bad Bunny will be joined at the Fenway show by superstar DJ/producer Alesso. During later dates on the tour, Bad Bunny will team up with Diplo, another high-profile DJ/producer.
Presale tickets will be available starting Wednesday, Jan. 26, at noon, while tickets for the general public go on sale on Friday, Jan. 28, at noon through the Red Sox website.
