Alex Cooper hosting ‘Big Al’s Block Party’ on Lansdowne Street before Sox-Marlins game

Podcaster Alex Cooper is also bringing her electrolyte drink company to Fenway for a hydration pre-game.

Podcaster Alex Cooper (a.k.a. “Big Al”) will be hosting Big Al’s Block Party, a carnival-style festival with numerous vendors, along Lansdowne Street outside Fenway Park starting at 4 p.m on Friday, Aug. 15, prior to that night’s Red Sox game.

In addition, she’ll be hosting a separate Big Al’s Hydration Pregame, which will allows fans to enjoy pre-game bites paired with drinks from Cooper’s electrolyte drinks company, Unwell Hydration, at five local bars: Game On!, Bleacher Bar, The Lansdowne Pub, Bill’s Bar, and Loretta’s Last Call.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Alex, Unwell and the Red Sox, and we’re creating a cultural moment that will have people talking long after the last pitch is thrown,” said Patrick Lyons, owner of the Lyons Group, which manages several of Fenway’s most iconic bars.

Jersey Collab Tickets, included with the cost of a regular game ticket if purchased through the promotional link, include a Red Sox x Unwell jersey and access to the block party and the 7:10 p.m. game against the Marlins.

Grand Slam Package Tickets, which cost $100 in addition to the cost of a game ticket, include a jersey and access to the game, the block party, and the Hydration Pregame.

Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, regularly the No. 2 podcast on Spotify after Joe Rogan’s, claims to average about 5 million weekly listeners.
