Laugh with Tracy Morgan at The Wilbur

The comedian made famous by "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" visits The Wilbur.

Tracy Morgan comes to Boston during his national tour this spring, rescheduled due to COVID-19.

Tracy Morgan, of Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock fame, performs at The Wilbur April 30 for two shows rescheduled due to COVID-19. The two-time Emmy-nominated comedian will perform at 7 and 9:45 p.m. As of Feb. 27, the 7 p.m. show was sold out.

A staple on the comedy scene for the last 15 years, Morgan was a cast member on SNL from 1996 to 2003, and became a household name when he starred in Tina Fey’s 30 Rock from 2006 to 2013. He currently executive produces and stars opposite Tiffany Haddish in The Last OG, a TBS comedy series available on HBO and Hulu that just released its fourth season.

Morgan has put out three standup specials — 2010’s Black & Blue for HBO, 2014’s Bona Fide for Comedy Central, and 2017’s Staying Alive for Netflix. The latter was his first special since a life-threatening car crash in 2014 that left Morgan in a coma for two weeks. His movie credits include The Longest Yard, The Other Guys, Death at a Funeral, and What Men Want, in which Morgan stars opposite Taraji P. Henson.

In recent years, Morgan’s done a number of films as a voice actor, including Rio, Rio 2, and the Oscar-nominated Boxtrolls. Morgan has been nominated for two Emmys — one for SNL and one for 30 Rock.
