Country legend Garth Brooks will play two concerts at Gillette Stadium this spring.
The seven-time CMA Entertainer of the Year will perform at the home of the Patriots on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, 2022, his first performances in New England in seven years. Brooks will be visiting Foxborough as part of his Garth Brooks Stadium Tour, which began in March 2019 and has visited more than 75 cities so far.
Brooks was originally scheduled to play Gillette on October 9, 2021, but the show was postponed in August 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In July, I sincerely thought the pandemic was falling behind us,” Brooks said in a statement at the time. “Now, watching this new wave, I realize we are still in the fight and I must do my part.”
Tickets for the Friday, May 20, concert go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 5. Seating will be formatted “in-the-round,” meaning that Brooks will perform on a stage in the center of the stadium. Tickets will be $94.95 each (including taxes and fees), with a limit of eight tickets per purchaser. There are no pre-sales for the show, and all purchases must be made through Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the original date — May 21 — are sold out.
