Alt-rockers Eve 6 landed their debut single “Inside Out” atop the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart back in 1998. Pretty impressive, given lead singer/songwriter Max Collins was but a teen when he wrote and recorded the song. But not surprising, given how the song has endured.
Case in point: here we are in 2022 and Eve 6 are on the open road again. But not as a ‘90s one-hit wonder novelty act coasting on “Inside Out”. After a brief breakup in the mid-2000s, the three original members reunited in 2011 and the band has spent the last decade touring and releasing new music, including their latest EP Grim Value, which dropped last spring.
And Collins has added a new weapon to his music arsenal: Twitter. @Eve6 has become a must-follow on the platform, with a healthy mix of sarcasm and earnestness. And plenty of show pics, too. Snap a few at The Wilbur on May 3 and tag the band. Maybe you’ll get a RT for your trouble.
