Eric Clapton will perform at TD Garden this fall

The English guitarist will play in Boston on Sept. 16.

Legendary guitarist Eric Clapton will perform a concert at TD Garden on Sept. 16, Live Nation announced Monday.

Fan club presale tickets for Clapton’s Boston show go on sale Tuesday, March 4 at 10 a.m. A general ticket sale will follow on Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m.

Estimated prices for the tickets range between $220 and $2,924, according to VividSeats.

The U.S. run of Clapton’s tour will be limited to six stops: Nashville, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, and Uncasville Conn. The tour kicks off on Sept. 8.

The 17-time Grammy winner released his latest album, “Meanwhile,” in October 2024. The record features a variety of other artists, including Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Judith Hill and more. The album also includes eight previously released singles as well as six new songs.
