John Mulaney is bringing the laughs to Tanglewood this summer.
The comedian will make his Tanglewood debut when he takes the stage at the Koussevitzky Music Shed on Sunday, June 29 at 6 p.m.
Mulaney is the only solo comedy act taking part in Tanglewood’s 2025 Popular Artists Series, which includes performances from musicians like Nas (June 27), Jon Batiste (June 28), James Taylor and his All-Star Band (July 3 and 4), and Lynyrd Skynyrd (Aug. 30).
While this is Mulaney’s first time performing at the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the comedian has a history with the BSO. Mulaney filmed his award-winning 2023 Netflix stand-up special “Baby J” at Boston’s Symphony Hall. “Baby J” was nominated for two Emmys (winning one), and nabbed a Critics Choice Award for best comedy special (non-televised).
Tickets for John Mulaney’s Tanglewood show will go on sale on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. through Tanglewood’s website, with a limit of six tickets per order. Unlike many Tanglewood concerts, tickets will only be sold for the inside of the Koussevitzky Music Shed, meaning there will be no lawn seating.
