Experience “Derry Girls” IRL

Are you an Erin? Or a Clare? You can figure that out over a drink at Noir Bar’s “Derry Girls”-inspired pop-up. Expect themed-cocktails like the “Friends Across The Barricade” and “Jenny Joyce’s Party Spritz” and Irish bites, including shepherd’s pie and corned beef sliders. (Monday, March 10 through Sunday, March 17; hours vary; 1 Bennett St., Cambridge)

Cheer on the B’s on the cheap

Bruins’ leadership may have gutted some OGs following the NHL trade deadline (R.I.P. Brad Marchand), but we think these ~$60 tickets for Tuesday night’s home game against the Florida Panthers might cheer you up. (Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m.; 100 Legends Way, Boston; prices vary)

Design your own lucky charms

And by lucky charms, we mean charm bracelets. Time Out Market is hosting a charm bar on March 13 where you can create your own bag charm or charm bracelet with Hip Hope Hoorah. Bonus: Your ticket also includes a St. Patrick’s Day-themed drink. (Thursday, March 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; 401 Park Dr., Boston; prices vary)

Elevate your St. Paddy’s drinking game

Out: Irish car bombs. In: Irish mocha espresso martinis and spiced pear old fashioned. You can learn how to make both at this cocktail-making class at the Revere Hotel in downtown Boston. Your ticket includes hands-on instruction of two signature cocktails, an Irish-inspired snack, and a special souvenir. (Thursday, March 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; 200 Stuart St., Boston; $23.18)

Celebrate Pi Day the right way

You know what goes well with cheese? Pie! March 14 celebrates our favorite mathematical constant (3.14), and curds&co is going all out with a pie-and-cheese-pairing class. Tickets include a selection of cheeses, thoughtfully paired accompaniments, and small tasting samples of drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). (Friday, March 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; 288 Washington St., Brookline; $65)

Shavasana under a full moon

There’s going to be a full moon on Friday, also called a “worm” moon. Named for when the ground thaws and earthworms emerge from the soil, the worm moon symbolizes rebirth and renewal, marking winter into spring. It’s the perfect backdrop for a 75-minute yoga and meditation combo at the Museum Of Modern Renaissance. (Friday, March 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; 115 College Ave. Somerville; $39.19)

See a comedy legend under $50

Grammy- and Emmy-nominated stand-up comedian Margaret Cho is going to be at The Wilbur on March 14 and there are plenty of great seats in the $40 range up for grabs. (Friday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.; 246 Tremont St., Boston; prices vary)

Stop and see the birds in Southie

The early bird might catch the worm, but you can still be a late-riser and catch all the birds at this bird walk at Castle Island with Beyond Plastics Greater Boston. This location claims to be a solid place to spot winter species and occasional rarities. And it’s also a moment for birders and activists to come together. (Saturday, March 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; 2080 William J Day Blvd., Boston; free)

Watch locals cringe on a blind date

Or fall in love! Both outcomes are on the table at the iconic “It’s a Date” comedy show. The concept is simple: Four consenting singles take the stage blindfolded for an unpredictable blind date, relying on smooth talk and quick wit to spark a connection. And yes, there is tons of audience participation to fuel the fire. You can catch the show three times this week. (Multiple dates and times; locations vary; $30.65)

Check out a Bierfest Bazaar

The folks behind the Brighton Bazaar are putting on their first-ever Bierfest Weekend Bazaar in honor of Notch Brewing’s 8th annual celebration of traditional Bavarian culture. In addition to 100+ small local businesses selling art, vinyl, and vintage, you can also enjoy soft pretzels, brats, and “oompah” brass band, and cottage-core vibes. (Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 from 12 to 6 p.m.; 525 Western Ave., Boston; free)
