There’s something rare happening at a small Cambridge restaurant: Vincent’s is going full-on steakhouse on Thursday, March 31.

The two-level cafe and dining room on the corner of Cardinal Medeiros Ave. and Bristol Street in Kendall Square typically dishes up casual breakfast and lunch, plus seasonally- riven bistro cuisine by night. Sibling to State Park Bar, it also pours classic cocktails and natural wines. The all-day eatery is trying something new, however, with a little help from frequent purveyors Drumlin Farm and Wulf’s Fish.

For one night only, enjoy all the steakhouse classics at Vincent’s, optionally matched with natural wines produced in California. The five-course menu features a seafood tower of shrimp cocktail and broiled oyster, wedge salad-style Drumlin Farms greens and tomato jam with Vermont blue cheese and house-cured bacon, lobster bisque, pasture-raised bone-in ribeye with béarnaise and sides of creamed farm greens, sautéed Fat Moon mushrooms, and a crispy hash brown, and cheesecake with preserved cherries and a chocolate crumb.

The wine pairing is an add-on — but if you go for it, your Steakhouse Night will begin with another classic of the genre: A cold, strong martini.

Tickets are $90 before drinks and are available by booking a reservation between 5 and 9:30 p.m.
