Let Catalyst restaurant in Cambridge set the table for the perfect pre-Valentine’s Day date with a Burgundy Wine Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 12. The comfortable dining room with a roaring fireplace, located in Kendall’s Technology Square, will be dressed up for the evening, and five-plus courses from chef-owner William Kovel’s team are thoughtfully paired with five French wines.

The menu starts with the sparkling Deux Roches Crémant de Bourgogne to complement canapés like caviar on blini and cheese gougères. Dishes of scallops, lobster, duck, and lamb follow, all expertly matched with a glass of white or red wine showcasing Burgundy’s distinctive elegance. Tasty morsels of petit fours end the night on a sweet note — well, that’s how dinner ends, anyway.
