The New York City-based Flying Ivories head into Danvers this St. Patrick’s Day for a Dueling Pianos Dinner Show that’s anything but low key. With a backdrop of waterfront views at the Danversport, this energetic show on March 17 is part music, part comedy, and all-request. It’s a rock and roll sing-along that puts two custom-built black pianos and a drummer together for an evening full of your favorites — from Billy Joel to Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra to Metallica, Johnny Cash to Katy Perry. Beginning with a cocktail reception (with a cash bar), take your seat for a tasty chef’s menu of Caesar salad and focaccia starter, your choice of Statler chicken breast with long grain rice and garlic Parmesan green beans or braised short ribs with garlic mashed potato and caramelized Brussels sprouts, and New York-style cheesecake with coffee and tea. Who knows — you might even end up on stage (of your own a-chord, of course).
