Canceled: Urbanity Dance’s ‘Our Place’

When former Boston Ballet instructor Betsi Graves founded Urbanity Dance in 2008, she wanted to inspire, engage, and empower communities through the art of movement. These days, the nonprofit arts organization’s professional dance Company brings that inspiration to the stage through a blend of modern, jazz, ballet, hiphop, and breakdance — all executed with hyper-athletic aesthetic. Their upcoming intimate dance experience, Our Place, will be performed at Urbanity’s Central Studio and will feature a new work in progress by Urbanity Dance’s Choreography Fellow Dana E. Fitchett.
