Thrillist released a list of the most haunted places in every state and the @US Ghost Adventures Lizzie Borden House was named the spookiest spot in Massachusetts. Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her parents with an axe in their home in 1892. She was tried and ultimately acquitted, and today the crime still remains unsolved. “On your visit, you’ll stay at the Bordens’ home, eat their last meal (Johnnycakes and eggs), and sleep in the bedroom where the body of Lizzie’s stepmother was found.
