A local woman may have a free ticket to this weekend’s Patriots game for you, if you’re a guy aged 22-35 and up for a blind date with a recently single stranger.
Alyssa, a Dracut resident, posted an ad to Craigslist on Thursday looking for a companion to the Patriots/Chiefs game this Saturday at Gillette Stadium. She had bought the tickets for her now-ex-boyfriend, with whom she just broke up. They’re “really good seats,’’ Alyssa writes, ones that are close to the field.
Instead of deciding to bring someone else she knew to the game, Alyssa is doing what any resourceful millennial would do in her situation: She is using the Internet to find a replacement date.
Alyssa’s only requirements for her potential date are that he be 1) young-ish and 2) willing to text her reasons why she should choose him. Sending her a selfie is recommended, but not required, and buying her a drink wouldn’t hurt.
