Help Tom Brady fight AIDS, win a private football lesson

One lucky fan will get a cool opportunity with the Pats quarterback by raising money for charity.

Yesterday was both GivingTuesday and World AIDS Day, and Tom Brady did his part to benefit both.

The Patriots quarterback posted the following video to his Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, saying that he was partnering with (RED), a foundation that raises funds to fight AIDS, and Omaze, a company that creates dream experiences to raise money for charities.

Through the campaign, donors can enter to win a private QB lesson for two with Brady, airfare and hotel included. According to the Omaze description, “After you chat with Tom Brady about everything from life goals to fantasy football advice, he’s taking you onto the field for some QB training, complete with a touchdown pass.’’

Those interested in donating via Brady’s fundraiser can do so through Omaze, choosing one of many donation tiers. The greater the donation, the greater the chance of winning the opportunity to ball with TB12. Those who don’t win the QB lesson with Brady will have the satisfaction of contributing to research on AIDS, a virus that has claimed the lives of 34 million people since it was first discovered in 1983, according to red.org. More than 37 million people are living with HIV.

Brady is one of many athletes and celebrities teaming up with (RED) and Omaze this month to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience to benefit those battling AIDS worldwide. Other Omaze and (RED) campaigns include a holiday card with Shaq, a makeover with Kim Kardashian, and the chance to hang out with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell.
