Lightning at Gillette Stadium is beautiful, terrifying
New England Revolution fans at Gillette Stadium were reminded of a basic sports truth on Saturday night: Soccer and lightning don’t mix.
With the Revolution hosting the Houston Dynamo, lightning lit up the sky in Foxborough asthunderstorms moved through the region. The inclement weather led to delaysthroughout the game, but did make for some captivating photos and video:
