A bigger monster is coming to Fenway Park
The ballpark will host a ski and snowboard big air competition.
While Fenway Park’s regular season is in full swing with Red Sox games and concerts, it’s hard to imagine the field covered in snow. In just six months, however, the stadium will be transformed into a winter wonderland for big air skiers and snowboarders.
In February of next year, Fenway Park will play host to a 110-foot hill and a two-day ski and snowboard big air competition,The Boston Globe reported. The peak will be roughly three times the height of the Green Monster, according to NBC Sports, who will broadcast the event.
The Red Sox principal owner John Henry also owns Boston.com.
