Justin Rose pays tribute to his deceased father Sunday at the U.S. Open

Justin Rose, thefourth-ranked golfer in the world and 2013 U.S. Open Champion, took to Instagram to show the world his tribute to his deceased father Sunday at the U.S. Open.

Rose had his father’s name stitched onto his golf bag at Chambers Bay, a touching gesture of love, appreciation, and honor on Father’s Day.

Ken Rose passed away in 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was his son’s first golf coach, and Justin honored his father in winning the first U.S. Open after his death in 2013. Rose finished tied for 27th in the 2015 U.S. Open.
