The unofficial start of spring training for the Boston Red Sox, Truck Day marks the departure of the team’s gear and supplies for spring training and gives local fans hope that warmth and wins are on the way. From bubble gum to baseball pants, the Red Sox squeeze just about every item they could possibly need into a 53-foot equipment truck that will make the 1,480-mile trek from Fenway Park to Fort Myers, Fla.
