Gresh and co-host Scott Zolak have co-hosted the show since April 2010. Boston.com’s Chad Finn reported in January that Gresh would be replaced by Bertrand after the Super Bowl.
“Marc’s unique opinion on the topics of the day, his local background, and his sense of humor will bring a new, entertaining twist to the midday show,’’ said Mike Thomas, Vice President, Programming, CBS RADIO Boston & Vice President, Sports Programming, CBS RADIO. “Partnered with Scott’s never-ending energy level and interesting former pro athlete take, the duo will make for a solid combination.’’
In a statement on its website, the station said Gresh would remain on board “in a variety of roles.’’ “Zolak and Bertrand’’ premieres Tuesday, February 17.
