Bill Simmons’ Issues With ESPN Not Even Close to Over
UPDATE: Hang on. It seems this potential firestorm has been put out.
Following a couple hours of silence, Golic chimed in himself on Twitter. It seems he and Simmons have buried the hatchet.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Here we go again. Bill Simmons and ESPN are still playin’ the feud.
Simmons went on Colin Cowherd’s ESPN Radio show on Wednesday and commented on LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ slow start to the season during wide-ranging interview. Then on Thursday morning on Mike and Mike, another ESPN Radio show, hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg played a snippet of the interview in which Simmons compared LeBron and the Cavs’ early season struggles “a tiny bit’’ to those of the Angels and Albert Puljols when the slugger signed in Orange County back in the winter of 2011/2012.
That was followed by Golic ripping the Grantland editor-in-chief without placing the comments in any proper context, saying, “That’s what I’ll say about Bill Simmons. So, you know, he grabbed a headline, which is something I know he loves…’’
Simmons fired back at Golic — and ESPN in general on Thursday afternoon in a series of tweets, and boy was he not happy.

Simmons only just returned from a suspension handed down by the Worldwide Leader’s big shots a couple weeks ago. If you thought this soap opera was over, think again.
