Fancy Connecticut Private School Runs Fancy Trick Play
I know, I know, the words “fancy’’ and “Connecticut’’ are redundant (I’m allowed to say that because I’m from there), but this trick play by the Brunswick School out of Greenwich is truly a masterwork.

Essentially, the play is a double-reverse in the backfield, followed by a pass across the field — all behind the line of scrimmage. Receiver Malik Wilder still had to make a sweet cut back, but the setup was grand. The trickery helped the Brunswick School march 50 yards vs. the Salisbury School, after trailing by one point with 23 seconds left.
