Glenn Gronkowski Logs Longer Play Than Big Brother Rob Has Ever Posted For Pats
Despite all of Rob Gronkowski’s NFL accolades, chalk one up for younger brother Glenn in the “I did something you didn’t’’ department.
In No. 14 Kansas State’s 31-30 win over No. 11 Oklahoma, the sophomore fullback caught a pass from quarterback Jake Waters and took it all the way into the end zone to tie the game 7-7 with 4:01 to play in the first quarter.

While Glenn’s touchdown was his only catch of the game – and fourth of the season – the play went for 62 yards, longer than any catch of Rob’s pro career. Rob’s career-long catch in the NFL was a 52-yard touchdown in the second quarter of a 34-3 Patriots win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 21, 2011.
Glenn has two rushing attempts to go along with his four catches this season for 101 total yards.
Rob and Glenn are the two youngest brothers of the five-boy Gronkowski family. Oldest brother Gordie Jr., a baseball player, played first base in the Los Angeles Angels organization. The other four all play football, with Dan, Chris having joined Rob in the NFL.
