Capital offenses highlight Game 3

The Vancouver Canucks fan who created the highly-entertaining and scathing “tribute” to the Boston Bruins earlier this year, deftly splicing clips of the “The Daily Show” with various Boston transgressions over the past year-plus, has quickly turned around another video  following Brad Marchand’s PK Subban-worthy performance during last night’s 4-3 Bruins win in Washington.

The CBC broadcast may have called Marchand out for his diving exploits, but it was the Nicklas Backstrom incident that could really affect this series should the Washington forward see a suspension after his match penalty to end Game 3. Capitals coach Dale Hunter doesn’t think that will be the case, saying, “They gave him a match, but I think the league will review it and rescind it. If you seen it, it was not that bad.”

“Chris” Peverley, Jeremy?

Capitals postgame coverage in D.C, certainly seemed to disagree after the night Backstrom had on the ice.
