2010 in Detroit: “After playing with the Red Sox, Detroit was the No. 1 team I wanted to play for.”
2011 in Tampa: “This is my dream team.”
I would just like to take the opportunity to boast that I wrote the following last August: “Until he signs with the Rays in the offseason and begins to wax nostalgic about how he always envisioned himself playing for Tampa Bay.”
