Pirate booty

So the Yankees have turned the Red Sox offense back into Bruce Banner in the first two games of this three-game set, but it can’t change the fact that Dwight Evans and Jim Rice absolutely demolished Goose Gossage and Dave Winfield in this Captain Morgan carnival of Yanks vs. Sox of yesteryear. Evans kills it at darts, which it’s kind of tough not to from 2 feet back. And I must admit, it’s still a little frightening to see Rice accurately bunt the ball so easily that I can vividly imagine it turning into a 6-4-3. But maybe that’s because, well…you know.

Thank goodness they interview Captain Morgan himself (is that Dave Coulier?) at the outset for his take on the AL East. There’s nobody I trust more than someone dressed up in a pirate suit for a balanced opinion.
