Summer breeze

Not much has been made of it locally, what with the incumbent quarterback’s dazzling odds at title No. 4 – not to mention his increasing status as a Runaway Dad – but former Patriots QB Drew Bledsoe is not in an NFL training camp for the first summer since 1992. And he doesn’t appear to be missing any of the daily grind. He tells Yahoo’s Michael Silver:

“I’ve been sending the guys cellphone photos, beginning with the first day of training camp. The first was of my feet in a lake with a beer in my hand. There was a picture from a golf course, one from the boat when I was waterskiing, and one when I was riding my motorcycle.”

Bledsoe snapping away while whipping down the road on his Harley is not a sight we’d care to see anytime soon. But essentially, Drew has become that guy from the office who won’t cease sending snapshots of his Bahama vacation to your office Lotus account. And we all love those people.
