Morning sports update: Tom Brady trained with Deion Sanders’s son in recent workout
"I'm always here for you."
The sports world continues to reflect ongoing international protests over racial injustice and police brutality. As leagues continue to return for the first time since the coronavirus outbreak, players have sent both collective and individual messages.
On Sunday, in Real Madrid’s first game back since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Brazilian left back Marcelo took a knee and raised his fist after scoring in a 3-1 win over Eibar.

Tom Brady and Shedeur Sanders: As he continues to prepare for life with a new NFL team, Tom Brady took some time to help work with a possible star of the future.
Shedeur Sanders, son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, posted photos of a recent workout with Brady. Sanders, a four-star college football recruit who attends Trinity Christian School in Texas, is also a quarterback.
“Learning from the [GOAT] soaking up all the knowledge,” Sanders wrote in the caption of his social media post.
