With the New England Patriots falling behind early in Super Bowl LX to the Seattle Seahawks and ultimately losing, 29-13, fans watching at home couldn’t be blamed for shifting their focus from the on-field action to sideshows like Bad Bunny’s halftime performance and the best Super Bowl commercials.

Super Bowl commercial mainstays like the Budweiser Clydesdales were back, as were celebrities making repeat appearances from prior years like Matthew McConaughey and Peyton Manning.

And for the fourth straight year, Ben Affleck starred in a commercial for Dunkin’. This year’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial featured Affleck, Tom Brady, and a huge group of ’90s sitcom stars, including “Seinfeld” star Jason Alexander and “Friends” actors Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc.

Here are my picks for the 10 best Super Bowl 2026 commercials (in alphabetical order) from this year’s Big Game, as well as a full list of all of the ads that aired during Super Bowl LX.

The best Super Bowl commercials

Anthropic

The CEOs of AI companies always seem to be making self-serious proclamations about how their technology will change the world. So it was refreshing to see Anthropic’s Super Bowl commercial have a sense of humor about AI agents. In particular, the company poked fun at one of its rivals, OpenAI, for its plan to integrate advertisements into its AI assistant, ChatGPT.

Budweiser

Budweiser is a brand that is all about tradition. So it makes sense that for its 150th anniversary, the company produced a heartwarming ad showing a Clydesdale foal and a bald eagle growing up together, crescendoing to the tune of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird.”

Coinbase

Sometimes being the weirdest commercial during the Super Bowl is the most effective strategy. Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase had one of the more visually stark ads of the evening, flashing the lyrics to “Everybody” by the Backstreet Boys in the style of a karaoke machine. Best commercial? Maybe, maybe not. Best at making me stop what I was doing and stare perplexed at the TV? Absolutely.

Dunkin’

Ben Affleck threw it back to the ’90s for his 2026 Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial, starring in a sitcom parody of “Good Will Hunting” alongside a slew of ’90s sitcom stars and former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

He Gets Us

In an effort to spread the word of Jesus to a younger demographic, the non-profit Come Near produced this ad highlighting the excesses of consumerism. Whatever your religious beliefs, you cannot deny the power of the advertisement’s slogan: “There’s more to life than more.”

Hellmann’s

Former “SNL” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Andy Samberg channeled his inner Neil Diamond in this spot for Hellmann’s, singing “Sweet Sandwich Time” to the tune of “Sweet Caroline” as he squirts mayo on the sandwiches of diners, including Elle Fanning.

Levi’s

Everyone from a Bruce Springsteen stand-in to Woody from “Toy Story” starred in this Super Bowl commercial for Levi’s — or at least their derrieres did, anyway. If the goal of a Super Bowl commercial is to sell a product with a simple but effective message, “Levi’s make everyone’s butt look good” is a home run.

Liquid I.V.

Liquid I.V. made hydration a central part of its Super Bowl ad, featuring a collection of singing toilets crooning Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds.” The ad goes from an oddity to a great punchline: “Take a look at your pee.”

Pepsi

Pepsi tried to reignite the Cola wars with their ad showing polar bears — Coca-Cola’s famous mascots — picking Pepsi Zero Sugar over Coke Zero in a blind taste test. The ad finishes with a nod to the infamous couple caught on the kiss cam at Coldplay’s Gillette Stadium concert.

Xfinity

As a giant fan of “Jurassic Park” it wasn’t just the fact that Xfinity reunited Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum for the company’s Super Bowl ad: It was the subtle matching of specific scenes from the 1993 film, like Jeff Goldblum looking at a huge pile of shrimp instead of a pile of… something else.

2026 Super Bowl Commercials

‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth’

The first surprise of the night commercial-wise was the teaser for “The Adventures of Cliff Booth,” a sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” starring Brad Pitt as stuntman and Hollywood fixer Cliff Booth. David Fincher will direct the film, which is coming to Netflix sometime in 2026.

Amazon Alexa

Chris Hemsworth is convinced his wife Elsa Pataky’s new Alexa+ is out to kill him. But the ad sells the “Thor” star on the benefits of an in-home AI assistant.

Blue Square Alliance Against Hate

Robert Kraft’s non-profit (formerly known as Foundation to Combat Antisemitism) is back with another Super Bowl commercial highlighting the foundation’s mission “to stand up to Jewish hate and all hate by inspiring Americans to become active allies in the fight.”

Boehringer Ingelheim

Boehringer Ingelheim’s ad stars Octavia Spencer and Sofia Vergara, who encourage people to screen for kidney disease.

Bosch

Bosch’s Super Bowl commercial gives us a look at an “ordinary” Guy Fieri, before using the company’s power tools makes him look more like his typically flamboyant self.

Bud Light

As the ad copy provided by Anheuser-Busch punningly notes: “Peyton Manning, Shane Gillis, and Post Malone know a keg is the best way to get Super Bowl LX — and a wedding — rolling.”

Cadillac

Cadillac used its Super Bowl ad to unveil its Formula 1 racing team, which will begin competing in the auto racing league in 2026.

“Disclosure Day”

Other than the short teaser released late in 2025, not much is known about “Disclosure Day,” other than that it is an alien film both directed by and based on a story by Steven Spielberg. After “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “E.T.,” and “The War of the Worlds,” what else do you need to know?

‘Michael
