The 2025 World Figure Skating Championships take place this week at TD Garden, from Wednesday, March 26, to Sunday, March 30.

Only second to the Winter Olympics, this is the most prestigious event for the sport — and will be a strong determining factor for the 2026 Olympic games in Milan less than a year away.

A total of 200 skaters from 50 countries are competing for medals across four categories: men’s and women’s singles, pairs, and ice dance.

The U.S. is represented 11 times throughout the event, with many returning notable faces, including 2024 World Champion Ilia Malinin, who was the first to land a quadruple axel in competition; defending ice dance champions and two-time gold winners Madison Chock and Evan Bates; and Amber Glenn, two-time U.S. national champion.
