Revolution midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic reportedly heading to PSV Eindhoven on $6 million transfer
The Revolution roster turnover does not just include attempts to make the team better. It also is going to cost them one of their top prospects.
Midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic will join PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands for a $6 million transfer fee, a source confirmed Friday.
The 19-year-old Bajraktarevic registered three goals and three assists in 45 league games over three seasons with the Revolution. All of his offensive output occurred this season, when he made 29 appearances, including 22 starts, and logged 1,990 minutes. He earned a spot on the 22 Under 22 team selected by MLS staff, club technical staff, and broadcasters.
