It was a perfect day for Frozen Fenway
Delayed because of the winter weather, Sunday's games were played in perfect conditions.
College hockey fans had to wait another 24 hours to see two of 2017’s best Frozen Fenway games, but the sunny Sunday setting proved worth it.
The two games originally scheduled for Saturday, January 7 were postponed because of the winter storm that smothered the region with snow. Both matchups, Boston University vs. University of Massachusetts and Boston College vs. Providence University, got underway 24 hours later. And only a day after the weather was deemed too harsh for hockey, the conditions turned out to be absolutely perfect:

Though the temperature was in the low 20s, the sky was essentially cloudless. For outdoor hockey, it was ideal:
