After he helped both the Red Sox and Cubs win the World Series following lengthy championship droughts, some Vermont voters want to see Theo Epstein in the White House.

Since Vermont election officials released specific data recording write-in votes, it’s possible to count how many votes sports figures received in the 2016 presidential election. The leading sports candidate in the eyes of the Green Mountain State was the Cubs’ president of baseball operations.

Behind Epstein, Tom Brady, David Ortiz and Bill Belichick (which was misspelled on the tally sheet) all received multiple votes.

Notably, New York sports figures Eli Manning and Derek Jeter also received one vote apiece. Fictional boxer Ivan Drago also pulled in a single vote.
