Kevin Harlan hilariously narrated a fan rushing the field like it was the Super Bowl

“Now he’s taking off the shirt! He’s at the 30! The man is drunk!”

Most of the time sports announcers do their best not to call attention to people who run on the field during games, because giving them recognition is exactly what they want. But after listening to Kevin Harlan’s hilarious blow-by-blow call of a fan interrupting play at Levi’s Stadium during Monday night’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, you’ll probably want play calls of every rando who rushes the field in the future.

“Now he takes off the shirt!” Harlan yells, his voice crescendoing as if he’s announcing the sequel to the “band on the field” play. “He’s running down the middle by the 50! He’s at the 30! He’s barechested and banging his chest!”

Harlan’s call was probably the most exciting thing to happen during the 49ers’ 28-0 blowout victory over the Rams.
