LSU’s Ben Simmons to reportedly hire Lebron James’s agent
LSU freshman forward Ben Simmons, projected by many to be the top selection in this year’s NBA Draft, intends to sign with the Lebron James-funded Klutch Sports agency and will hire Rich Paul as his agent, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
According to the report, Simmons had been recruited heavily by James, Paul, and Klutch Sports since attending the Lebron James Skills academy in 2014.
Simmons’ LSU Tigers failed to make the NCAA Tournament after a 71-38 defeat to Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament semifinals, then elected to not participate in the NIT, offically ending the youngster’s collegiate career.
In a season of intense scrutiny for his indifferent play on occasion, Simmons averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists in 33 games at LSU.
