Here’s the New England Revolution’s 2020 schedule
The Revolution opens the season at Montreal on Saturday, Feb. 29.
The 34-game schedule is out for the New England Revolution’s 2020 season as the club prepares for its first full Major League Soccer season under coach Bruce Arena.
The Revolution opens the season at Montreal on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 3 p.m. and hosts Chicago on Saturday, March 7 at 1:30 p.m. in their home opener. Their regular season schedule concludes with an Oct. 4 matchup at Orlando.
In 2019, the Revolution rebounded from a poor start to finish 11-11-12 and make the playoffs after coach Brad Friedel was fired and Arena signed on as coach and sporting director. They lost in the first round of the playoffs to Atlanta United, and will have to wait until July 8 for a rematch.
The Revolution will face both of MLS’s expansion teams – Inter Miami CF and Nashville SC – and the schedule includes games against 10 of the 13 Western Conference teams.
NBC Sports Boston will broadcast all but one Revolution game – an April 11 home game vs. FC Cincinnati will be on NECN.
Arena, 67, coached the US men’s national team from 1998 to 2006 and in 2016-17, and is the winningest active coach in MLS history with a 202-121-89 record across 14 seasons. Arena has won five MLS Cups with D.C. United (1996, 1997) and the LA Galaxy (2011, 2012, 2014), tied for the most in league history.
