Lee Nguyen posts farewell message after Revs trade
The playmaker's departure marks the end of an era in New England.
Following the announcement of his trade to Los Angeles FC earlier this week, Lee Nguyen tried to summarize his time in New England in an Instagram post.
The 31-year-old midfielder – with the Revs for just over six years – expressed his gratitude to both the club and fans:

“I want to sincerely thank the Krafts, the coaching staff, my teammates, and most importantly, the fans,” Nguyen wrote. “The love and support you have shown me has made my experience here truly unforgettable. You will always hold a special place in my heart!”
Arriving in New England in 2012, Nguyen was indispensable in the Revs’ run to the MLS Cup Final in 2014. In 2017, he reached double digits in goals (11) and assists (15).
Nguyen was traded to LAFC for allocation money.
