Watch Taylor Twellman’s passionate rant after U.S. men fail to qualify for World Cup

"You and I have talked about this off-camera. Well, guess what? I see that little red light. It's on."

In the wake of the U.S. men’s soccer team failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, fans and pundits alike are upset. Few expressed their frustration more effectively than former New England Revolution forward Taylor Twellman.

Speaking in his familiar role as an analyst on ESPN, Twellman hammered away at the “utter embarrassment” of a United States team failing to qualify for next summer’s World Cup in Russia.

“You and I have talked about this off-camera,” Twellman told his ESPN colleague. “Well, guess what? I see that little red light. It’s onĀ and I’m going to bring it up right now: The gloves should have been off years ago. We should have been having real criticism.”
