Revolution defender Andrew Farrell has been selected to his first MLS All-Star game.

The 24 year-old was selected by All-Star coach Dominic Kinnear and commissioner Don Garber, and will join the MLS All-Stars as they take on Arsenal FC of the English Premier League on July 28th at 7:30 p.m.

Farrell is a third-year player with the Revolution, after being selected by the team with the first-overall pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. He is one of three players to have appeared in every game this season for the Revs, spending time at both center back and right back.

Farrell will join former teammate and USMNT standout Jermaine Jones at the game, in addition to such stars as Didier Drogba, David Villa, Andrea Pirlo and Clint Dempsey. Farrell becomes the second Revolution player to be named an All-Star in as many years, following 2015-selection Chris Tierney.
