Here are some options for those who want to ski more terrain.
Skiers and snowboarders leaving from Boston are presented with a myriad of destinations where they can hit the slopes. While the list of places in immediate proximity to Boston is lengthy, there are also a few larger resorts for those willing to drive a bit farther.
Still, there is a limit to how much day trippers will want to drive. If you want to set a reasonable cap on the amount of time you’re want to spend in the car, here’s a list of ski areas that are within three hours of Boston. All of them are near the top of the list in New England in terms of vertical drop and skiable acreage.
